At primelivingApp ("we", "our", or "us"), we place the highest priority on the privacy and security of data entrusted to us by property owners, paying guest (PG) operators, hostel administrators, and residents ("you" or "users"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and cloud management dashboard.

2. Our Role: Software Provider, Not Accommodation Provider

primelivingApp is a software-as-a-service platform licensed to hostel, PG, and co-living businesses ("Operators"). We do not own, lease, sub-let, broker, or manage any accommodation, and we are not a party to any tenancy or licence agreement between an Operator and a resident.

This determines how data is handled. For resident records held in an Operator's workspace, the Operator is the data controller — they decide what is collected and why — and primelivingApp acts as the data processor, processing that data only on the Operator's documented instructions. For our own website visitors, prospects, and Operator account holders, we act as the controller. Residents should direct access, correction, and deletion requests to their property operator in the first instance; if a resident contacts us directly, we will action the request and escalate it to the relevant Operator.

3. Information We Collect

• Account & Property Information: Name, work email address, phone number, property location, and billing preferences when you sign up for our software or request a live demo.
• Resident & KYC Data: When property owners onboard residents, the system may store resident contact details, government identification documents (such as Passport, National ID, or Driver's License uploaded strictly for background and compliance verification), and lease agreements.
• Financial & Transactional Records: Payment logs, rent receipts, security deposit details, and card/bank transaction histories processed securely via accredited global payment gateway partners (such as Stripe, PayPal, or regional gateways).

4. How We Use & Protect Your Data

We utilize your data strictly to deliver, maintain, and optimize our property management platform. All sensitive documents (such as KYC identity proofs) are stored in encrypted cloud vaults with strict access controls. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your residents' data to third-party advertisers under any circumstances.

5. Global Privacy Compliance (GDPR, CCPA & DPDP Act)

Our data collection and processing workflows adhere to strict global privacy frameworks including Europe's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and India's DPDP Act.
